Photo Genre.

The genre I chose for both pictures is nature. I chose this because they were easy and natural. I like how the pictures look and feel. I have not captured this type of genre is recent memory. I do not often take pictures so I have nothing to compare this to. There is no pattern genre between pictures I'v taken.

Composition Through My Len

The picture on the left is bad composition and the one on the right is good composition. The left is bad composition because of the junk in the background. The right is good composition because it shows the rule of thirds.

Applying the Rule of Thirds

As you can see, I am not in applying the rule of thirds in this photo. This is because I am in the center.
Here, I am applying the rule of thirds. This is because of the now zoomed in image. Rather than putting focus straight down the center, I put focus on a certain section.
To further prove my use of the rule of thirds, I have added these sections to show a point of focus. My face is in the top left hand corner. That is where 40% of eye focus goes.

Digital Editing GIF 8/22/17

This assignment had me filter images on Photoshop. It took me awhile to find out what to do, but I ended up getting the hang of it. I then had to put the images together for what you see above. The pictures contain a wall. I filtered each picture and put them together to make to make the loop seen above.
My Name- Alphabet Photography 8/24/17

For B, I used an image of a keyboard. For R, I used an electric wire on a wall. For A, I used pencils to make the shape of A. For N, I did the same thing I did for A. For D, I took a picture of the D on a "DELL" computer. For O, I took a picture of the center of a table which was shaped as a circle. For the second N, I used a part of a computer which took the shape of an N.
09/01/2017 - Me My Color and I

Here, I used Photoshop to put myself in a background. I had some trouble with this assignment, mostly when using the quick selection tool. Despite this, I ended up getting the hang of it. I had to cut the background of an original image, and replace it with one I found on the internet. I changed the hue to make it look more green. I then typed some things on the picture for it to connect to the color green.

Here, I took 6 frame shots. The first one is an extreme long shot. The second is a long shot. The third is a medium shot. The fourth is a medium close up. The fifth is a close up. The last one is an extreme close up. What I did was that I took a shot then zoomed in on it. I started the zoom in on the second shot, so that the pictures would look nicer. The first and second are two different pictures taken at the same place. This picture can connect to the real world industry because it can be used to promote basketball or the Bonita Vista Middle P.E area.

Camera angles are used in movies when filming. They are used to frame certain shots. These shots can put a sense of scale on the viewer. They connect to us since we can see emotion the long distances to short ones. It really helps put the feel the scene is trying to convey.
